Metalsmithing A Family Affair
Founded in 1982 by Leigh Morrell as the West Village Forge in Brattleboro, VT, Morrell Metalsmiths is a family-run business that has stood the test of time. Justin, Leigh’s son, caught the blacksmithing bug early on and joined his dad full-time after high school.
Later, Evan, another family member, joined the crew, making the business a multi-generational affair. They moved into a new shop in Colrain, MA, in 2003. So, when you’re dealing with Morrell Metalsmiths, you’re not just getting a service; you’re becoming part of their family story.
