About The Winterborn Bladesmith
Meet Steve Karakostas, the heart and soul behind Winterborn Blades. Steve’s love for blades isn’t just a hobby; it’s a lifelong passion rooted in Greek mythology and medieval fantasy.
His mom ignited this love by sharing stories of ancient Greek warriors, making the sword a symbol of hope and honor for him. Steve’s not a desk guy; he thrives on crafting, especially with Canadian-made materials.
Inspired by renowned bladesmiths, he’s committed to quality over quantity. Oh, and why “Winterborn”? He was born in winter and crafted his first blade then too.
